Hi and welcome to my mama blog!!  I’m Laurie, mom to three wonderful and challenging boys – Big Boy is 7 years old, Little Boy is 4 and Baby Boy is 1. I have a wonderful husband and we also have one dog – who of course is also male! Clearly I am far outnumbered by males in my household!

I previously worked full time as a paralegal /legal assistant and now operate my own virtual legal assistant business from home. My business is called Halo Secretarial Services and I blog there too! So I’ve been a stay-at-home mom during my year long maternity leaves (one for each boy!), a working mom who used daycare and now I’m a work-at-home mom. Wow – I think I’ve about covered all avenues there.

In addition to my virtual legal assistance business I blog here, write for TypeA Mom and am the Secretary of the Edmonton VBAC Support Group and am Secretary for ICAN Canada.

My first son was delivered by c-section due to breech presentation (8lbs 3oz at 38 weeks).  My second son was born by VBAC in a hospital with an epidural (6lbs 3oz at 38 weeks).  My third son was born VBAC at a hospital as well, but totally naturally (9lbs 9oz) – and that was my easiest delivery!!
